HANNAH BRUCE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Friendswood, Texas, has been named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, April 14th.
Bruce captured top honors in the hammer at the UIW Invitational with an SCAC-season best toss of 43.46 meters.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Makenna Bentley of Trinity jumped a new personal best in the high jump of 1.62m at the UCSD Triton Invitational. This mark ranks her number one in the conference for the high jump.
