BRIANNA SERRET OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore from Alexandria, La., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 8th.
Serrt led the Centenary Women's Swimming team to a third place finish at the Hendric Invite on Saturday. She placed first in the 100 fly, beating her personal best by two seconds for a finishing time of 58.29. Followed by another first place perfomance in the 200 fly recording a time of 2:14:29 and setting another personal best by four seconds. Serret also finished third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00:59. She helped lead the Ladies to second place finishes in the 400 medley and the 400 free relay.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Jio Chang of Colorado College led the Tigers in their win over CSU-Pueble on Saturday. She took home wins in the, 200 free with a time of 1:59.32, the 100 fly in 1:00.13, and the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:15.84. Chang also helped to lead the Tigers to a first place win in the 200 free relay.
