MIGUI BOLDRIN OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior midfielder from Ribeiaro, Brazil, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, October 27th. 

Boldrin scored three goals and had an assist in two key conference wins for the Ladies last weekend. Centenary defeated both Dallas and Austin College on the road and Boldrin, the SCAC’s leader in goals and points, had a goal and the game-winning assist in a 3-2 win at Dallas on Friday and then scored a pair of goals on Sunday in a 4-0 victory over Austin College. Boldrin also scored a goal last Monday in a 6-1 home victory over Louisiana College, giving her four goals for the week in three games. She leads her team and the conference this season with 16 goals and 38 points. She also has six assists and four game-winning goals. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
 Sophomore forward Victoria Salazar of Dallas scored what would be the game-winning goal for the Crusaders in a 2-1 win versus St. Thomas last Sunday. It was the first career goal for Salazar. Freshman forward Alexis Guajardo of Southwestern scored the game-winning goal for the Pirates in a 2-0 road win against Texas Lutheran last Friday. Senior forward Katarina Maksimov of St. Thomas scored the lone goal for the Celts last week in a 2-1 loss to Dallas. Sophomore midfielder Kaity Ward of Trinity has a goal and an assist in the Tigers 3-0 win at Johnson & Wales last Friday.
