WILSON HAMITON AND ARTUR ZIGMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 2 through Sunday, March 8.
Wilson, a junior from Austin, Texas, and Zigman, a sophomore from Houston, Texas led Trinity’s 12th-ranked men’s tennis team to a 3-0 record last weekend, defeating East Texas Baptist, Schreiner, and St. Thomas. Hamilton and Zigman went 3-0 as a team for the weekend, earning all three wins at line three for the Tigers. The duo improved to 7-4 as a team this season, extending their winning streak to four matches. Individually, Hamilton is now 12-5 in doubles play, while Zigman is 8-4 overall in doubles.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Jeremy Wilson and sophomore Carlos Esteban Rodero of Southwestern cruised to a 8-1 victory over TLU’s Aaron Bulla and Simon Carandang at the No. 3 doubles line.
