WILSON LAMBETH AND JORDAN PITTS, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 1 through Sunday, April 7.

Lambeth, a senior from El Paso, Texas, and Pitts, a junior from Austin, Texas, went undefeated in a split week for No. 11 Trinity who faced two top-10 opponents. The seventh-ranked team in the nation, Lambeth/Pitts began the weekend with an 8-7 (7-5) win over third-ranked Patrick Whaling/Chase Johnson at line one. The duo then knocked off Pomona-Pitzer’s Octave De Giacomoni/Josh Gearou, 8-5, to lead the Tigers to victory. Lambeth and Pitts are 15-3 as a doubles team this season, including several wins over non-Division III opponents.

Other Outstanding Performances:

Freshman duo Hunter Bajoit/Carlos Esteban of Southwestern held opponents to four points or less in all three of their matches to earn a 3-0 record for the Pirates last week. Austin College senior/junior pair Kenneth Hardy/Siddharth Kortikere posted a pair of victories over opponents from Colorado College and Texas Lutheran to lead the Roos’ to a 2-0 record over the weekend.
