WILSON LAMBETH OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from El Paso, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played through February 10.
Lambeth started off the season with a 3-3 record in singles, including a 3-0 record against Division III opponents. After dropping his first two matches of the season against D-I Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Lambeth bounced back to win three of his last four matches, including a victory over a player from defending NJCAA National Champion Tyler Junior College.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Alex Talley of Texas Lutheran earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles in the Bulldogs’ victory over Howard Payne.
