LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Five of the league's seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's swimming teams were in action this past week.
McMurry University and University of the Ozarks both competed at the Hendrix College Relays and Classic, on Friday and Saturday.
The Ozarks men placed second in Friday evening's relay portion of the meet with the team's strongest performance came in the 400-yard free relay. Michael Walkine, Kim Gyeongju, Dylan Gehrels and Jacob Toland won the race with a time of 3:39.62. McMurry finished in third.
The following day, Ozarks took third place and McMurry fourth in the Classic portion of the meet.
Colorado College and Trinity University both stepped up in Division and dropped dual meets to Division II Colorado School of Mines and Division I Incarnate Word, respectively.
Southwestern University dropped a tri-meet at Loyola (La.) University to host Loyola and Birmingham-Southern College.
