LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University junior Andrew Thiesse of Trinity University has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Male Swimmer-of-the-Week for his outstanding performances to start the season.

ANDREW THIESSE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Williamsburg, Va., has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, October 19th.
Thiesse led the Tiger men's swimming team to a season-opening victory over Centenary College on Saturday, October 11, winning three individual events.
Thiesse took both the 200 free (1:47.10) and the 500 free (4:54.13), as well as taking the top honor with a time of 55.35 in the 100 backstroke. Trinity took a 125-74 victory over the Gents at a neutral pool in the Houston area.
The Tigers open up the home portion of their schedule this weekend, hosting UT-Permian Basin on Saturday, October 25.
