ZAC ASBURY OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore attack from Thousand Oaks, Calif., has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, March 18 through Sunday, March 24.
Asbury made 38.9 percent of his shots for the Pirates last week, netting 11 points with five goals and six assists. The sophomore shot 50 percent against Berry, putting away four goals in the contest. Against North Central (Ill.), Asbury dished a game-high six helpers and put away a goal of hs own to lead Southwestern to victory.
Other Outstanding Performances
Colorado College senior midfielder Tyler Borko tallied 13 points in a 1-1 week for the Tigers, collecting five goals and eight assists.
