JAKE SITTERLE OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Dripping Springs, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Wednesday, February 19 through Tuesday, February 25.
Sitterle led the way for Schreiner at the San Antonio Shootout, which was contested at the TPC course in San Antonio, finishing at +19 after rounds of 76, 77 and 82. He was in a tie for 13th place individually in the 85-player field heading into the final round before falling back into a tie for 19th.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Jonathon Miller of St. Thomas was the top finisher for the Celts, posting a three-day total of 239 (82-72-85) that left him at +23 and tied for 27th place at the San Antonio Shootout.
