JORDAN WILLIAMS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior defensive back from Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 22nd.
Williams sparked Trinity's football team to a 38-17 victory at Austin College on Saturday, picking up the first conference win of the year for the Tigers.
Williams returned 2 blocked punts for touchdowns in the third quarter, helping the Tigers score 14 unanswered points. He blocked the first punt of the quarter for Austin, then took it back 10 yards for a score. Late in the quarter, he returned another blocked punt 10 yards for another score. game.

Junior cornerback Nik Kelly of Southwestern University helped the Pirates change the momentum of their game against TLU, as he returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown, helping Southwestern to a 42-38 victory over Texas Lutheran on Saturday night. It marked Southwestern's first kickoff return for a touchdown since Leo Chafin went 95 yards for a score against the University of Corpus Christi (now Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) on October 14, 1950.
