LOGAN THOMPSON OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior punter, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 15th.
Thompson averaged 43.5 yards per punt and flipped field position for the Bulldogs in a big way on his two 50-plus yard punts (of 51 and 58 yards).
Thompson's 58-yarder, downed at the Austin 4 yard line, was his best of the year so far. The 51-yarder was fair caught at the Austin 10.

First-year kicker Luke Fierst of Southwestern University accumulated 6 points in Southwestern's 48-0 victory on Saturday, kicking 6 extra points. He also handled most of the kickoff duties, averaging 53.6 yards over 7 kickoffs, including one touchback.
