CHRISTIAN ALEMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior punter/wide receiver from Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, November 12.
Aleman had an outstanding performance for the Tigers' Saturday, playing a key role in the team's 14-0 win over Austin College.
Aleman averaged 40.4 yards per punt, collecting 283 yards on seven attempts in the game. He had a long punt of 57 yards and dropped five of his seven punts inside the 20 yard line to help Trinity win the field position battle all afternoon.
Aleman had two punts travel 50+ yards in the game, accounting for two of his three 50-yard kicks this season.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Jacob Tingle of Texas Lutheran University returned four kickoffs for 79 yards against Southwestern, including a long of 29. He also contributed a solo special teams tackles.
