BRYAN HICKS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior quarterback from Humble, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Co-Offensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, November 12. Hicks shares the honor with Texas Lutheran University's Marquis Barrolle.
Hicks threw for 312 yards and five touchdowns in Southwestern's 35-31 victory over Texas Lutheran.
Hicks completed 25 of 43 pass attempts, averaging 12.5 yards per completion. Late in the game, he scrambled away from pressure to find Kenneth Wynn Jr. in the back of the end zone for the go-ahead score.

Marquis Barrolle of Texas Lutheran University concluded his record-breaking Bulldog career with 215 yards rushing and three touchdowns against Southwestern, scoring on runs of 59, 6 and 6 yards. Barrolle also caught eight passes for 34 yards. Zach Trevino of Trinity University accounted for more than half of the team's total offensive yardage to lead the Tigers to a 14-0 win over Austin College. Trevino had 30 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown in the win.
