Crusaders Fall to Trinity University of Sunday

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's soccer team fell to Trinity University 6-0 on Sunday afternoon. Dallas (2-3) was limited to just two shots placed on goal as UD was outshot 21-8 in the match. Trinity (2-2-2) had five different players score on the day, with four goals coming in the second half.

Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas) led all Dallas players with three shots. Chima Ogueri (Garland, Texas) and Hunter Haugland (Bixby, Okla.) had solid shots on goal, but the TU keeper made two saves to keep UD off the board. Caleb Strange (Argyle, Texas) played 79 minutes in goal making five saves. Sean Carlin (Puyallup, Wash.) played the other 11 minutes notching one save.

Dallas used 12 subs in the game, allowing bench players to find solid field time on the afternoon.

Connor Jones led the Tigers with four shot attempts

Juan Carlo Vindales earned his first victory at the keeper position making two saves on two tries for TU. Trinity won the corner kicks battle 7-4.
