BELTON, TX -- Texas Lutheran Men's Soccer dropped their season opening match to the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders 4-0.
At Mary Hardin-Baylor's Cru Soccer Field, the Bulldogs fell behind early as the Crusaders struck first - scoring their first goal in the ninth minute. The Crusaders lead went unimpeded as they carried a 1-0 lead into halftime while carrying a 4-2 shot advantage.
After an extended period with no action, the Crusaders came alive in the second half with goals in the 62nd, 78th, and one final goal in the 87th minute.
The Crusaders outshot the Bulldogs 10-6. The Bulldogs had no shots on goal.
