Men's Tennis Team Wins Convincingly Against Centenary College

The Eagles posted a 9-0 win over Centenary College behind the play of Bryant Cason.

Shreveport, La.-The University of the Ozarks men's tennis team won in convincing fashion, 9-0, against Centenary College Sunday in Louisiana.

The Eagles (5-8) easily won each doubles match against Centenary (1-9).  At the No. 1 position, Reid Birch and Bryce Johnson won 8-1. In No. 2 doubles, Jonah Martinez and Walker Murray posted a 8-3 win. In the No. 3 position, Harrison Harbin and Akevion Cunningham cruised in their match winning 8-0. Martinez played No. 1 singles and took a 6-0, 6-2 victory. Johnson was at the No. 2 position and won 6-2, 6-2. At the No. 3 spot, Birch had a 6-1, 7-6, 10-4 win. In No. 4 singles, Murray topped his opponent 6-1, 6-0. Bryant Cason played the No. 5 position and earned a 6-0, 6-0 win. In the No. 6 spot, Harbin dominated 6-0, 6-0.

The Eagles will host LeTourneau University April 6 in conference play.
