Mary Hardin-Baylor, Moore grab 62-57 road win at Texas Lutheran

SEGUIN, Texas -- Wednesday night in TLU's Memorial Gymnasium, Sam Moore scored a game-high 21 and led the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to a 62-57 road win over the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs.
 
UMHB improved to 6-1 overall. TLU dropped to 3-3 with the non-conference loss.
 
Moore scored 11 in the first half and 10 in the second half for the Cru. He played just over 38 minutes and added eight rebounds.
 
The Cru won despite committing 26 turnovers.
 
Those 26 UMHB turnovers led to TLU taking 21 more shots, but the Bulldogs shot only 34.9 percent from the floor and only 19.4 percent from the three-point line for the game.
 
TLU was 6-for-31 from the three-point line.
 
Caleb Lister (Baytown/Baytown Christian) led TLU with 15 points and seven rebounds. Sebastian Andrade (El Paso/Americas) contributed 11 points and three rebounds.

TLU continues its non-conference schedule with a Dec. 14 home game against Sul Ross State. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. in Memorial Gymnasium.
