UD Men Tie Austin College

The men’s soccer team played an intense game against the Austin College Kangaroos. The Crusaders and the Kangaroos struggled through double over time in the cold and windy weather conditions, but neither team was able to break through the opposing defense.

Junior midfielder Ryan Meske (Niwot, CO/Niwot H.S.) had seven shots while Michael Chapman (Madison, MS/St. Joseph Catholic School) shot three and Aaron Tucker (North Richland Hills, TX/Birdville H.S.) also had three shots. As the game progressed, junior goalkeeper Paul Stauduhar (Longwood, FL/Lake Mary H.S.) totaled four saves.

With today’s third tie of the season, UD’s record is now 4-6-3. Their next match is against UC-Santa Cruz on Sunday, October 25 at 12:00pm. It is our senior game so come out and support those individuals and our UD men’s soccer team!
