That, however, proved to be as close as CC would get.
The Roos answered with a 10-2 run and built a 70-54 lead after junior forward Briana Harvey scored two of her 11 points on a layup with 5:48 remaining.
Tyus made six of 11 field-goal attempts and seven of eight free throws to eclipse the 20-point mark for the second time this season. She also added nine assists and a pair of blocked shots.
The senior guard climbed past Eliese Hansberry (2006-10) and Kris Lund (1980-84) into 15th place on the program's all-time scoring list with 943 points.

Danielle Davis reached double figures for the 13th time in 16 games and finished with 13 points.

Senior guard Christina Kime and senior forward Erin Riley scored 12 points apiece to pace Austin.
Kime added seven points and five assists for the Roos, who improved to 6-8 overall and 1-3 in the SCAC.
Colorado College plays host to the University of Dallas on Sunday at noon.
