Colorado College junior goaltender
Natalie Slade made a career-high 18 saves, however Rhodes College scored off of a rebound 38 seconds into overtime to claim an 11-10 victory on Friday afternoon, it's first ever against the Tigers.
Slade stopped Avery Burke's initial shot, but Burke picked up the ground ball and scored to end the game before the Tigers had an offensive opportunity in the extra period.

Tobin Lonergan and
Caroline Shay scored free-position goals 40 seconds apart to tie the score at 10-10 with 2:44 remaining in regulation time. The Tigers had three shots to take the lead during the final 96 seconds, but Rhodes goaltender Emma Bradley stopped a pair of shots by Lonergan to keep the score tied.
The Lynx had two free-position attempts during the final six seconds, but Slade denied a shot by Burke to send the game to overtime.
Goals by Devan Ortman and Lonergan gave Colorado College an 8-6 lead 2:15 into the second half, but the Tigers went scoreless for almost 24 minutes and Rhodes scored four in a row to take a 10-8 lead with 9:23 to go in the fourth quarter.
Lonergan led CC with four goals in her collegiate debut.
Payton Bennett led the Lynx with four goals and an assist.
Rhodes compiled a 39-21 advantage in total shots and a 30-23 edge in ground balls.
Each team won 12 draw controls.
Bradley finished with 17 saves for the Lynx.
CC converted on two of eight free-position shots, while Rhodes went 1-for-5.
