SAN ANTONIO - No. 16 Tiger Men's Golf finishes with both teams on the podium as first and second place at the Alamo City Classic.
The Tigers would finish with individuals in first and second place, as well as three other top-ten finishers. The Tigers would also have multiple players set new career lows for a single round.
The Tiger team that ended in first-place took home a score of 278 on the day, bringing their total to 843 across the two-day tournament. They were highlighted by first-year
Grant Clark (College Grove, Tennessee / Page) who shot a 66 in his final round of play, marking a new career low, and finished in second place individually. Senior
Dennis Butts (Houston, Texas / Stratford) would tie his career low by shooting a 68 in round three. Sophomore
Aiden Marlow (San Antonio, Texas / Churchill) would rank third for the Tigers with a score of 71.
Luke Chuha (San Antonio, Texas / Cornerstone) and
Brody Grieb (Bend, Oregon / Summit) would round out the lineup for the Tigers, shooting a 73 and 74 in the final 18 holes.
The second-place Tiger team would finish with a team score of 282, bringing their total to 844, just one stroke behind their first-place team. Leading the way would be All-American
Jacob Mason (Westminster, Colorado / Holy Family), who set a new personal best when he shot a 64 in his final round, notching himself a first-place finish. Sophomore
Neel Sandhu (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) would finish next for the Tigers with a score of 72.
Carter Code (Calgary, Alberta, Canada / Manning),
Giorgio Gianoulis (Salt Lake City, Utah / Rowland Hall), and
Jack McKay (Spring, Texas / Klein Oak) would all finish the final round of play with a 73 on the scorecard.

With the conclusion of the Alamo City Classic, the Tigers will travel to Destin, Florida to compete in the Golfweek D-III Fall Invitational from October 15th through October 17th.
