ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Austin College volleyball team battled against NCAA Division II opponent Ouachita Baptist, but the 'Roos fell in straight sets to bring their overall record to 11-10 on the season.
The 'Roos dropped the match by scores of 25-18, 29-27, 25-23, with Mattie Duncan and Victoria Smith each getting seven kills to pace the 'Roos offensively. Austin College hit .182 as a team in the match, while Ouachita had a .295 attacking percentage. Olivia Linton had five kills, while Riley Abernethy and Jazmyn Kizziar each had four in the loss. Tatum Torres had a team-best 12 digs and Abernethy added eight, while Brianne Tseng led the 'Roos with 14 assists. Madison Manning chipped in 11 assists and four service aces in the loss.
