Perkins, Denton with singles wins in TLU's 7-2 home loss to Concordia Texas

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Men's Tennis dropped 5-0 and 9-0 decisions Friday to California Lutheran and Concordia Texas, respectively, and the TLU Women lost 7-2 to Concordia Texas.
 
At TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center, the TLU Women fell to 4-3 overall, and the TLU Men dropped to 2-6.
 
The Bulldogs' Bailey Denton and Liz Perkins pulled out women's singles victories against Concordia.
 
Denton won 6-1, 6-1 over Alejandra Rueda, and Perkins won 7-6 (9-7), 6-4 over Rachel Sweitzer.
 
TLU returns to action next Friday with road matches at Trinity. The women's match starts at 5 p.m., and the men's match begins at 6 p.m.
