MEDFORD, Mass. — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team fell 1-0 to No. 16 Colorado College in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament on the campus of Tufts University. The loss brings the Polar Bears' 2023 season to a close.

The Match
- Neither team was able to score in the 90 minutes of regulation, as ONU out-shot CC by a 15-12 margin.
- The Tigers scored the lone goal of the game in the first of the two 10-minute, non-sudden-death overtime periods. Teddy Libby found the back of the net in the 97th minute.
- The Polar Bears were unable to get an equalizing goal the rest of the way.
- Junior Lucas Hickey (Conroe, Tex./Oak Ridge) played all 110 minutes in goal for ONU and recorded four saves.
- The Polar Bears out-shot the Tigers 18-14 and finished with a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.

- Saturday's game marked Ohio Northern's second straight Sweet 16 appearance and fifth overall. It was Colorado College's first Sweet 16 apearance in 30 years.
