The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (4-0, 0-0 Midwest Men's Lacrosse Conference) pounded Millsaps College (0-2), 23-1, on Saturday, March 5 at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, Tenn.

The Red Men opened up an early, 8-0 lead over the Warriors, with Danny Morse scoring just 12 seconds into the game. Carthage dominated face offs all afternoon, with Kyle Honn and Hunter Douglas combining for a perfect 16-of-16 first half. Honn also had two goals early in the first period. Millsaps' only goal was on an open net man up with 4:40 left in the second quarter.

Keegan Bowman (Jr., New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary) scored five goals with a Carthage-record eight assists for a total of 13 points, also a school record. Cory Childs (Sr., Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) and Danny Morse (Fr., O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township) scored five goals each, with Chris Kochajkiewicz (Jr., Roselle, Ill./Hoffman Estates-Conant) scoring four times. Carthage broke or tied 10 school records in the contest.

The Red Men travel to Hanover, Ind., on Saturday, March 12 to play Hanover College (1-2) in a 2 p.m., EST game at L.S. Ayres Field.
