Memphis, Tennessee ~ Rhodes College could not overcome a hot shooting Birmingham Southern College team tonight in Mallory Gymnasioum, as the Lynx fell to the Panthers 62-100.  The Panthers shot an red hot 10-18 from three in the first half and finished the game shooting 56% on 18-32 shooting from beyond the arc for the game.  Birmingham Southern shot 62% from the field on the game.  Conversly the Lynx could not find any offensive rythm to keep up as they shot just 39% from the field on the game.

Rhodes was led offensively by Brad Luckett (Cordova, TN) and Hamilton, Reid (Birmingham, AL), each scoring 12 points.  Cunningham, JR., Larry (St. Charles, MO) netted another 11 points for the Lynx.  Hamilton led the Lynx with 6 rebounds.

Rhodes will be back in action next Friday as they travel to Sherman, Texas to take on the Austin College Kangaroos and then again on Sunday with a SCAC road game in Colorado Springs, Colorado against Colorado College.
