Despite leading the Roos' in every statistical category, St. Thomas would struggle to find the back of the net. After displaying a barrage of shots throughout the match, the Austin College defense would bend but not break, holding the Celts scoreless.

However, the Celts' defense would also stifle the Roos' attack, only limiting them three shots on goal for the entire match. Goalkeeper Briana Salinas would be excellent in goal, corralling all three strikes.
