COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Despite out-shooting the Bulldogs, Southwestern fell 2-0 to Texas Lutheran University in the first round of the SCAC Championship.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Texas Lutheran gained control of the match with a goal in the 19th minute as Martinez found Lopez 20 yards out.
- A free kick from 52 yards out by TLU went in the back of the net as the Pirates defense attempted to clear the ball, allowing TLU to add insurance and go up 2-0.
