Box Score Max Grossenbacher scored twice in a span of 45 seconds midway through the first half to lead Colorado College to a 3-0 victory at Southwestern University on Friday night.
The Tigers improved to 10-1 overall and 6-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and remain tied for first place with Trinity University.
Grossenbacher put CC on the board with a penalty kick in the 21st minute and scored again on the Tigers' next possession on a low shot from 35 yards out.
With back-to-back two-tally games, the junior midfielder climbed into second place on the team with five goals.

Theo Hooker, who didn't face a shot until early in the second half, finished with two saves. He improved to 7-0-0 and lowered his goals-against average to 0.14 with his fifth clean sheet of the season.
Colorado College recorded a 16-4 advantage in total shots, which included a 7-2 margin in shots on target
It marked the sixth time this season the Tigers held an opponent to five shots or less in a game. CC still has not allowed more than four shots on goal in a contest.
Travis Carmichael stopped four shots for the Pirates, who dropped to 4-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
Sole possession of first place in the SCAC will be on the line when Colorado College visits Trinity on Sunday at noon CT.
