SEGUIN, Texas -- Sebastian Andrade scored 26 points to lead Texas Lutheran to a 75-69 home win Friday over McMurry.
With the victory in TLU's Memorial Gymnasium (Jim Shuler Court), the Bulldogs improved to 2-2 overall and completed a regular-season sweep of McMurry. The Bulldogs also won 60-59 in Abilene on Nov. 9.
The War Hawks dropped to 0-4.
The Bulldogs took a six-point lead at half and opened up an 18-point lead with 10:26 to go.
McMurry battled back to make it a two-point game with 17 seconds to play.
Andrade made a pair of free throws with 15 seconds remaining to push the lead back to four. The junior from El Paso added two more free throws with six seconds to play to seal the win.
Andrade made 11 of his 12 free throw attempts and had six made field goals out of 19 attempts. He was 3-for-7 from the three-point line.
Andrade added 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Junior forward Caleb Lister added 14 points and five rebounds, and senior guard Jorden Kite contributed 13 points and two rebounds.
The Bulldogs made 11 of 25 three-point attempts and went 16-for-19 at the free throw line.
Colin Taylor scored 19 points for McMurry. Khalil Butler and Zacc Carter added 14 and 13 points, respectively.
TLU returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Hardin-Simmons at 4 p.m. in Memorial Gymnasium.
