The Rhodes College baseball team dropped their second game of the season this afternoon to Millsaps College 12-11 in 11 innings. The Lynx took an early 6-2 lead after 2 innings, both teams added a run in third, and Millsaps eventually took a 8-7 lead in bottom of the seventh. Rhodes tied the game in the top of the ninth to force extra innings. The Lynx put up three runs in the top of the eleventh, but were unable to hold off the Majors in the bottom half of the inning as Millsaps scored 4 to earn the victory.

Hunter Chandler worked the next 3.2 innings allowing 5 hits, 3 unearned runs, no walks, and struck out 3. Senior
Taylor Babich worked the next 2.1 innings, allowing 4 hits, 4 runs, 3 earned, 1 walk, and struck out 3. Babich picked up the loss for the Lynx and is now 0-1 on the year.
