
IRVING, Texas – The Southwestern women's soccer team was held scoreless for nearly 55 minutes, but exploded for five second-half goals to rout Dallas, 5-0, on Friday evening at Crusader Field.
Mady Akers and Shannon Lukehart both posted two goals apiece, while Akers also added two assists. Sarah Bevins netted the game-winning goal in the 55th minute.
The Pirates (5-2, 4-0 SCAC) will return home to host Huston-Tillotson at 1 p.m. Sunday.
