TLU Wins First of A Three Game Home-stand

SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran secured a win against Trinity 76-66, in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference battle.

Texas Lutheran improves their record to 5-5 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC

Trinity lose their first SCAC matchup and drop to 2-6 overall.

The game was won on the free throw line with both teams combining for 55 total fouls.

The Bulldogs edged out the Tigers at the charity line, shooting 31-43 while the Tigers only went 17-27.

Trystin Silas went 4-6 from the field and 6-8 from the free throw line finishing the game with 15 points.

Sebastian Andrade was Texas Lutheran's leading scorer with 16 points and led the game in rebounds with 11.

Trinity's Jordan Lippman was the game's leading scorer putting up 19 points and going 8-11 from the charity stripe.

Jamir Mason was active on the defensive end, getting three steals and a block to add to his nine points.

The Bulldogs play again December 30th, 2019 as they take on the Schreiner Mountaineers at home.
