Trinity runs to 82-57 home win over Texas Lutheran Bulldogs

 
SAN ANTONIO -- Abby Holland scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Trinity Tigers to an 82-57 home win Friday night against Texas Lutheran.
 
At Trinity University, Holland hit eight of her 12 shots and added six rebounds for the Tigers, who improved to 9-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. Trinity is 14-2 overall.
 
The Bulldogs dropped their second straight and fell to 7-10 overall and 5-5 in the SCAC.
 
Trinity made 51.6 percent of its total shots and hit 13 three-pointers. The Tigers were 13-for-27 (48.1 percent) from the arc.
 
TLU went 20-for-54 (37 percent) from the floor and 8-for-24 (33.3 percent) from the three-point line.
 
TLU turned the ball over 27 times, and Trinity held a 30-18 edge in points-off-turnovers.
 
Dominique Campos led the Bulldogs with 12 points and five rebounds. Kasey Hairell added 10 points and four rebounds off the Bulldog bench. Tara Molina registered six assists.
 
The Bulldogs travel to Kerrville, Texas on Saturday for a 6 p.m. contest against Schreiner University.
