GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Pirates' offense was slowed as UTD defeated SU 3-0 Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Southwestern started strong but the Comets closed the set on an 11-3 run to win 25-17.
• The Pirates earned the first four points but weren't able to hold onto the lead as UTD won the set 25-22.
• It was much of the same in the third set as Southwestern was never able to get on a roll and UTD took the win 25-22.
