CONWAY, Ark. – The Huntingdon volleyball team opened the Hendrix Warrior Invitational with a five-game win over Louisiana College and a four-game loss to Texas Lutheran on Saturday.
The Hawks beat Louisiana College 25-22, 25-16, 20-25, 16-25, 15-9 and fell to Texas Lutheran 25-12, 25-20, 24-26, 25-14.
Amy Tyma, Addison Genard, April Reese and Morgan Ilsley combined for 78 of the Hawks' 91 kills in the two matches. Ashley Murphy had 62 assists, Tyma and Reese combined for 45 digs and Genard and Tyma combined for 11 blocks.
