Final Results
The Colorado College women's swimming and diving team won the CC Classic for the first time since 2015 thanks to several top-two results Sunday at Schlessman Natatorium.
The Big Cats finished the two-day competition with 826.5 points, followed by Western State with 686 points and Colorado Mesa with 651.5.
CC captured three individual titles and won the 200 medley relay on Sunday. Sophomore
Jio Chang won the 200 butterfly, while freshman
India Phillips and senior
Mary Rose Donahue finished first in the 1650 freestyle and 3-meter diving, respectively. Donahue posted a score of 413.55 points, followed by sophomore
Riley Wadehra (395 points) and freshmen
Alexia Preston (352.45),
Lani Flagg (328.55) and Jen Middleton (307.70) to sweep the top five places.

Sarah Dunbar, freshman
Emily Erickson and seniors
Ellen Silk and
Justina Zuckerman won the 200 medley relay race in a time of 1:55.43.
In addition to Wadehra, the Tigers posted six individual second-place results on Sunday as well, including Silk (200 butterfly), Zuckerman (100 freestyle), Chang (200 freestyle), senior
Emily Harrison (1650 freestyle), sophomore
Selma Jukic (400 IM) and freshman
Emileigh Rafidi (200 breaststroke).
On the men's side, the Tigers finished fourth with 398 points, behind meet winner Colorado School of Mines (810), Colorado Mesa (658) the University of Colorado (406).

Eric Dallesasse, who won the 200 butterfly and led off the 200 medley relay team that finished second. Senior

Ethan Schick (200 butterfly) and freshman
Walker Martin (200 freestyle) each posted a third-place finish on Sunday, while Schick, Martin and freshman
Baker Casagrande joined Dallesasse on the 200 medley relay.
Colorado College also finished second in the 400 freestyle relay with the foursome of Martin, Schick, Casagrande and sophomore
Michael Wright.
"We look at the CC Classic meet as a true test of grit," head coach
Anne Goodman James said. "We compete in all of the events that we do at our four-day conference championships, but we do it over just two days and I feel like we passed the test."
The Tigers return to action at the SCAC Championship Meet in Southlake, Texas, Feb. 14-17.
