GEORGETOWN, Texas – Texas Lutheran had no answer to contain Kaitlyn Foster in the SCAC semifinal match as the Pirates defeated TLU 3-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southwestern was slow to start but quickly ramped up their attack and posted a .312 attack percentage in the first set to win 25-21.
- TLU came out strong in the second set and continued to hang close, but SU was just that much stronger to win 25-22.
- With a raucous crowd cheering them on the rest of the way the Pirates closed out the match in dominating fashion, winning 25-11 in the third set.
