Celts Fall to Trinity in Game 2 of Three Game Series

Celts Fall to Trinity in Game 2 of Three Game Series

In game two, St. Thomas was to strike on the scoreboard as Mason Seay answered the call in the bottom of the first inning to score Cameron McClure. From there, Trinity responded immediately with a run of their own at the top of the second. However, that would be seemingly all they would get off Kadin Munson as he followed it up with three scoreless innings. Then in the top of the fifth, with runners at the corners, Trinity capitalized with a single up the middle to take the 2-1 lead. They then scored three more off the Celt Bullpen to make the score 5-1. Then with lightning in the area, the game was delayed in the top of the ninth to Sunday at 12 PM.

Game 2 Resumes:

To kickstart the day, Senior Brady Watson threw a shutout inning to keep the score the same. St. Thomas tried to claw their way back into the game with a RBI from Jacob Carriere, but the lead was too large to come back from as the score ended 5-2 in favor of Trinity.
