
KERRVILLE, Texas – The Southwestern women's tennis team dropped the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Match to No. 24 Trinity, 5-1, on Sunday morning.
The Tigers (14-9) picked up all three doubles points. Trinity then went on to claim two of the three singles tilts that reached completion.
Anna Schneemann tallied the Pirates' lone point at No. 2 singles. Schneemann earned a straight-sets victory (6-2, 6-2) over Caroline Kutach.
Southwestern's 16-match win streak came to an end in the title match. The Pirates also concluded their campaign with a 21-5 record, while setting the program mark for wins in a season.
