Coach Speak
"The morning session moved quickly and the Tigers moved right along with it," exclaimed Head Coach Cathleen Pruden. "Already having two chances this season to practice being fast at night and then coming back in the morning is an excellent chance for us to prepare for championship season. They made the most of this opportunity and will be ready to rest for Tiger Invite in two weeks."

D3 Shootout, Day 2
Trinity sophomore All-American Neely Burns (Phoenix, Ariz. / Thunderbird) won a pair of events to finish off another standout weekend. Burns took top honors in the 200 breast with a time of 2:17.82, then finished in 2:04.40 to win the 200 IM as well. She earned NCAA "B" cut times in both events.

First-year Kyla Foxhoven (Austin, Texas / Westlake) continued her exciting weekend as well with outstanding performances of her own. She won the B final of the 200 breast and her time of 2:20.22 was not only good for a "B" cut, but also was the second-fastest time in the event – trailing only Burns. Foxhoven also swam the B final of the 200 IM and finished second in the race with the fifth-fastest time of the event (2:08.63).

Emma Hagan (Overland Park, Kan. / Olathe East) teamed up with Foxhoven, Amy Benson (Newmarket, N.H. / Phillips Exeter Academy), and Caroline Myers (Austin, Texas / Bowie) to finish second in the 200 free relay to close out the meet. Coach Speak
What a weekend for the women," said Head Coach Cathleen Pruden. "It was a thrill to watch them put up more top ten times and remain incredibly competitive with Pomona-Pitzer. We are proud to see some B cuts this early in the season and will be very excited to see what the Tigers can do with some rest."
