On a windy night in Georgetown, Texas, Women's Soccer dropped a conference match to Southwestern University, 4-0.
It was all Southwestern in the first 45 minutes, as they were able to net three goals. While the Celts struggled to find their footing on offense, recording no shots on goal. UST was able to strap down on defense in the second half, holding the Pirates scoreless until the 79th minute. After a handful of spectacular saves by Emily Edwards, Southwestern was able to squeak one by to extend their lead to four. In the final 30 minutes of the half, the Celts were able to get their attack organized and challenged the Pirates' keeper with five shots on goal. However, they would never capitalize and would drop the contest 4-0.
Women's Soccer will wrap up their season on Saturday when they host Austin College at 1:00PM.
