Saliman Paces Tigers at FHSU Open

Freshman Max Saliman led the Colorado College men's cross country team to a 10th-place finish at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open Saturday Saturday morning in Hays, Kan.
 
Saliman finished in 67th place, completing the 8K course in 26 minutes, 55.6 seconds. Junior Andrew West finished 69th in 26:57.9, followed by freshmen Emerson Worrell in 75th (27:04.8) and Theo Snowdon in 78th (27:14.5). Sophomore Ben Gellman rounded out CC's scorers with a 100th-place result in 27:56.7.
 
The Tigers, running against predominantly Division II teams, finished with 287 team points. Colorado School of Mines won the meet with 31 points and Derek Steele of Mines won the individual race in 24:08.9
