GEORGETOWN, TX- UST women's tennis team traveled to Georgetown, Texas, to take on East Texas Baptist but fell 7-0 in a tough matchup. The loss moves the Celts to a 7-1 overall record.

In doubles play, UST fought hard but couldn't overcome ETBU's strong performance. The pairings of Lucia Rodriguez and Ella Mullins, as well as Nataly Velasco and Aimee Tran, each fell by a 6-3 margin.

On the singles side, Lucia Rodriguez put up a strong battle in the second set but came up just short, falling 6-2, 7-5. Adriana Iturralde also had a competitive first set before dropping her match 7-5, 6-0.
