GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Men's Tennis (6-6) traveled to Belton, Texas for a match versus the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders (7-3). With some key players out, the Pirates persevered and earned the hard-fought 7-2 victory over the Crusaders.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Bernardo Clemente and Parth Patel moved into the No. 1 spot in the doubles lineup and earned an 8-6 win.
- Joseph Snyman and Travis Rafferty took over the top two spots in singles and had dominant victories (6-2, 6-3 and 6-0, 6-1, respectively).
- Ryan Flanagan, Rylan Hastings and Rishi Rajesh also showed the quality depth in the program with wins at No. 4-6, with Rajesh picking up a gritty 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 to close out the match.
- Jared Burton and Rafferty added a key win at No. 3 doubles to help the Pirates take a 2-1 lead into singles.
