Jordan Mullen produced double-figure kills for the fifth time this season as Colorado College began the day with a 25-13, 25-19, 26-24 victory over the University of St. Thomas in the first-ever meeting between the programs.
Mullen put down a match-high 12 kills for the Tigers, who improved to 15-2 overall and 6-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Allie Freeburg added eight kills on 15 swings with only one error. The junior right side hitter finished with match-high a .467 hitting percentage.
Mullen had four kills as CC utilized a 16-6 run to close out the first set.
The Celts led 13-12 midway through the second set, but a 5-0 run gave the Tigers a lead they would not relinquish. St. Thomas pulled to within 21-19 on a kill by Courtney Bates, but Freeburg had a pair of kills as Colorado College scored the final four points.
UST had a chance to extend the match when it overcame an early 18-11 deficit to serve for the set at 24-23, but a ball-handling error leveled the score and the Tigers shut the door with a Mullen service ace and a kill by
Georgia Mullins.
CC held the Celts to a .054 hitting percentage, marking the 10th time in 17 matches that an opponent hit below .100 against the Tigers.

Lizzy Counts directed the CC attack with 33 assists.
Anna Gurolnick posted a team-high 14 digs for the Tigers.
St. Thomas Standouts
Alyssa Aljouny led the Celts with six kills.
Kaylyn Latin had a match-high 21 digs.
