SANDESTIN, Fla. – Following Tuesday's final round of play at the Baytowne Golf Club, the 19th-ranked Trinity women's golf team finished 16th in the Golfweek October Classic.

The Tigers had their best team score of the three-day event on Tuesday, finishing the tournament with a combined score of 307. Trinity actually got better each round, following up Sunday's team score of 316 with a score of 313 yesterday.

Senior Lucy Hansen (Gilbert, Ariz. / Campo Verde) had Trinity's low score in each round, finishing in a tie for 15th with a three-day score of 225 (78-72-75). She was third in the field of more than 100 competitors in par 4 scoring for the 54-hole event. Hansen also had one of just four eagles in the tournament after holing out in two on the second hole of yesterday's round in which she shot even-par for the day. She finished the tournament with five total birdies to go with her eagle, tying for the team lead in under-par scores for the week.

Fellow senior Erin Flynn (League City, Texas / Clear Falls) had six total birdies over the three days, shooting a three-round total of 234 (79-77-78). First-year Marlo Zamora (San Antonio, Texas / Reagan) finished just three shots back of her teammate with a score of 237 (80-80-77), and had her best round of the week with today's 77.
