GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- Men's basketball (1-13,0-5 SCAC), traveled to play the University of St. Thomas Celts (11-2,3-1 SCAC) on Friday, January 5, 2024 in the Jerabeck Activity and Athletic Center in Houston, TX. The Celts pulled away from the Pirates, winning 76-58.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Luke Hatcher connected on three 3-pointers, finishing with 15 points, 9 boards, 1 steal, and just one turnover.

• Brock Luechtefeld added 11 points, 4 assists and 2 blocks. 

• Gio Gutierrez finished with 7 points.

NOTES:

• The Pirates finished with 28 turnovers, Celts with 14

• Southwestern outrebounded  UST 32-28

• The Celts earned 23 total steals for the game
