Box Score Colorado College continued its torrid hitting pace on Friday afternoon during a 25-14, 25-19, 25-17 victory over Schreiner University in the first of four matches at this weekend's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Group A Divisional play.
The Tigers hit .340 or better for the 11th time this season while holding an opponent to less than .100 for the 12th time. The net result was CC's 19th sweep and the team's 14 consecutive victory.
Colorado College, ranked No. 6 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Top-25 Poll, improved to 22-2 overall and 10-0 in the SCAC.
Lizzy Counts dished out 35 assists while leading the Tigers to a .343 team hitting percentage. The senior setter also produced eight digs and a pair of service aces.
Freshman right side hitter
Meaghan Hohman hit .471 and shared the team lead of nine kills with junior outside hitter
Allie Freeburg, who hit .353.

Emma Hewlin and senior outside hitter
Haley Harris each hit .500 with seven and sic kills respectively.
Colorado College Standouts
Anna Gurolnick led the Tigers with a match-high 13 digs and served two aces. Senior middle hitter
Jordan Mullen finished with seven kills and nine digs in two sets.
Schreiner University Standouts
Kayla Lofland led the Mountaineers with nine kills.
Austin Schiller put down six kills and had a team-high .312 hitting percentage.
